Monthly Food Drive

On the last weekend of each month parishioners have an opportunity to help  those in need through the generous contribution of non-perishable food items, which are donated to the Mercy Center food pantry in Asbury Park.  Please refer to the church bulletin for details.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Participation in the Thanksgiving Food Drive, “Feathers”, is a special way for our parish family to help the Mercy Center, Asbury Park, help families in need celebrate Thanksgiving. Look for details about this food drive in the November church bulletins.

Christmas Giving Tree

During Advent our parish shares the Christmas spirit with our neighbors who are less fortunate through the “Christmas Giving Tree”.

The gift items purchased by parishioners are collected and taken to the Mercy Center, Asbury Park,  to be delivered to specific individuals in need. Please refer to the November/December church bulletins for details.

Birthright Baby Gifts

Parishioners help support Birthright in Red Bank  by participating in an annual diaper – baby clothes drive. This drive will be announced in the church bulletin, watch for details.

Interfaith Neighbors

St. Jerome Church is a member of the Interfaith Neighbors Coalition of area churches and synagogues, which pool resources to relieve the rental burden on poor working families in our area. Collection tins are located at the entrances to the Church. All proceeds are donated to Interfaith Neighbors, Asbury Park.

St. Mary’s Church has a monthly collection during the 3rd weekend of each month for Interfaith Neighbors.
