MAY 9-10, 2026

We joyfully congratulate the children of our parish who have received their First Holy Communion. May this beautiful milestone deepen their love for Christ and fill their hearts with lasting faith, joy, and peace. Please keep these young communicants and their families in your prayers as they continue their journey with the Lord.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures in our parish family! May God bless you abundantly for your love, sacrifice, and the joy you bring to our lives each day.

The Knights of Columbus are selling their Annual Mothers’ Day Geranium Flowers following the Masses at St. Mary’s in Deal this weekend. CORONA SELF-HELP—a peer-oriented, non-profit organization—is also at St. Mary’s this weekend. Donations to CORONA SELF-HELP enable them to provide free, holistic recovery services for substance addiction.

This weekend’s special collection is for the maintenance of lawn in our parish. We thank you for your help and support to ensure that our parish grounds are well maintained. The Second Collection in our parish next weekend, May 16-17, is for the Catholic Communications Campaign. Please read Father Mark’s message in the bulletin about this campaign.

Our School Principal Sister Joan and Father Mark need your help by being an Angel to an SJS student! As an angel, you enable a student who is at risk financially, to remain in his or her Catholic school. 100% of your contribution is directed to the tuition, with the parents or guardians contributing their part. Your tax-deductible contributions, regardless of how small or large, can be made in honor of or in memory of someone you hold dear, while assisting a child who might not otherwise be able to afford the benefit that a catholic school education offers. For further information please contact Saint Jerome School Principal, Sister Joan at 732-222-8686. Be an Angel and give the gift of education!
